Grew up in Birmingham, AL, where most of the events chronicled in this blog will take place. I work as a financial analyst during the week and as a restaurant kitchen lackey on the weekends. My obvious interest in food and wine typically takes precedence over my other activities but I manage to find time for traveling, reading non-fiction and the occasional outdoor adventure.
The blog name?
Porcochon is a portmanteau of the words, Porco and Cochon. Both mean pig in Italian and French, respectively
